The Walking Dead – “Start to Finish” Mid-Season Finale Review. Alexandria (Or the Idea of It) is Lost.

“Start to Finish” does not wow me but it doesn’t leave me bored to tears either.

The Walking Dead – “Heads Up” Review. Yeah, Didn’t See That Coming.

The Walking Dead brings back the excitement with “Heads Up.” The walls literally come tumbling down and all hell breaks loose.

The Walking Dead – “Always Accountable” Review. The Three Questions Strike Again.

The Walking Dead comes back from last week’s super sucky episode “Now” with a better filler episode in “Always Accountable.”

The Walking Dead – “Here’s Not Here” Review. The Writing is on the Wall.

The writing, Williams’ direction, and acting by both Lynch and James makes “Here Not Here” one of the best episodes of the season. It moves at a slower pace yet doesn’t feel sluggish at all.

The Walking Dead – “Thank You” Review. At Least the Horn Stopped Blowing, Right?

I don’t have the words for the awe that overcomes me when I think about the massive production we’re presented with. I can’t express how I feel when faced with the potential death of beloved characters. I’m overwhelmed and blown away. And I really hate Heath’s wig.

The Walking Dead – “JSS” Review. A Sheep in Wolves Clothes.

“JSS” or “just survive somehow” is a turning point for the Alexandrians.

Movie Review – All Work All Play: The Pursuit of eSports Glory. It’s All Fun and Games Until Someone Gets Paid.

Remember those endless nights playing Mario Kart when you would have tournaments until 2AM? Do you recall how it felt beating your friends and knowing you were the best? What if I told you people are actually getting paid (yes, paid) for doing that very same thing with their favorite games?…

The End of the Tour Review. Straightforward, but Deep in Thought.

Sometimes, we want something simple; nothing complex, just straight to the point. No need for explosions, intricate plotlines, or a monumental ending. Just tell it like it is without any fluff. The End of the Tour is exactly that—plain and simple. This true story is a snapshot of the life of David Foster Wallace, an influential writer of his time…

Falling Skies Season Premiere –“Find Your Warrior” Review. Get Your Rage On!

Falling Skies comes roaring back with a bloody and action packed season premiere. “Find Your Warrior” isn’t just the title of the episode; it’s the battle cry repeated throughout the season premiere, spurring on the battle-worn, weary troops of the 2nd Mass.

Outlander Season Finale –“To Ransom a Man’s Soul” Review. What an End to a Beginning.

As a season finale, “To Ransom a Man’s Soul” hits the let’s-see-how-deep-we-can-go nail on the head. We can only surmise what adventures await Claire and Jamie by the end of season one.

Outlander –“Wentworth Prison” Review. Black Jack is Back.

Ahead lies more grief and strife for the Fraser duo. I’m along for the ride and looking forward to what comes next.

Outlander –“The Search” Review. Love Knows No Bounds.

Series readers will know what it means for Jamie to be in Wentworth prison. If you have no idea what that means for Jamie, sit back and get ready for a wild ride.

Outlander –“Lallybroch” Review. Welcome Home.

Balfe and Heughan light up the screen with their intense chemistry and the amazing way they bring these characters to life. I can’t say enough about how wonderfully done each scene between them is.

Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck – Review. Inside the Mind of a Tormented Genius.

There are people in this world who have left a lasting impression long after their death. One of these iconic figures who affected the world following his tragic suicide is Kurt Cobain. Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck is the first documentary about Cobain made with the cooperation of his family. From a happy child to a disturbed, lonely soul who created art only an obsessive, dismal mind can make, the documentary doesn’t pull any punches…

Outlander – “By The Pricking of My Thumb” Review. Witch, Please!

Filler episode at best, “By the Pricking of My Thumb” leaves me wanting. The tiny bit of action, both in and out of the bedroom, provides some excitement during the hour, but I must be honest, this episode is not one of my favorites.

The Walking Dead – “Try” Review. Has Rick Finally Lost It?

Alexandria may be secure for now but it is nothing but a gilded cage. You can’t contain people who are used to being free.

The Walking Dead – “Spend” Review. Eugene Grows a Pair.

The gruesome nature in which the writers are offing people has reached an all time gory high. And quite frankly, I’m a bit disturbed by it.

Movie Review – Cymbeline. Once More, With Feeling

William Shakespeare — talk about an artist who was ahead of his time. Many modern day films are either overtly or covertly based on his poetic scribbles…

The Walking Dead – “Forget” Review. Don’t Ask For Anymore Cookies.

“Forget” is a filler episode. It’s not terrible and we learn a few things about people we probably wouldn’t have guessed. I’m still not sure where things are going but I’m definitely along for the ride.

Frankenstein Underground #1 Review. It’s Still Alive!

The train Mary Shelley set in motion for the whole world to see has been moving for a long time. And writers keep adding more cars to it. It’s been almost 200 years and we are still mesmerized by…
