Movie Review: Cinedigm’s The Outwaters – Found Footage Horror Will Shock You

Banfitch purposefully attempts to fool the audience into the safety of traditional ‘found-footage’ horror film tropes; however, he successfully takes us on a stomach-churning roller coaster of cosmic insanity that will shock you as the end credits begin to roll.

Movie Review: The Toybox – Haunted RV Flick is a Misfire.

It’s difficult to recommend The Toybox to anyone outside of the most hardcore of horror fans and gore-hounds.

Movie Review: Gay Hollywood Dad – Charming But Shallow.

Despite the issues, Gay Hollywood Dad is an enjoyable film because of its big heart. It’s a tribute to being a parent, and all the success and struggles that entails.

The Icarus Line Must Die is pure punk rock.

Whisky Galore! is inoffensive and far from being the worst comedy ever made. It’s unfortunately just not very funny to watch.

The Walking Dead ― “Say Yes” Review. The Honeymoon is Not Over.

The chemistry between Gurira and Lincoln is off the charts. I can’t get enough of the two of them together.

Movie Review: Custody — Great Performances Fail To Save Generic Melodrama.

Custody is an emotionally manipulative film that serves no purpose other than trying to get a good cry out of its viewers.

Taboo – “Episode 8” Review. Where (Almost) Everyone Dies.

“Episode 8” is the most exciting, action-packed, and semi-satisfying episode to date. It has everything a viewer could want in a season finale, except answers to the mysteries riddling every scene.

The Walking Dead ― “Hostiles and Calamities” Review. Dr. Smarty-pants Makes A Name For Himself.

“Hostiles and Calamities” is a bit of a flashback but it fills in some blanks. I’m curious to see how Eugene either fits into the Saviors’ compound or helps to tear it down from the inside.

The Walking Dead ― “New Best Friends” Review. It’s the Return of the Garbage Pail Kids.

I love the plot behind “New Best Friends” but the green screen effects need work. Rick goes to the “up, up, up” and it looks fake, fake, fake. Not something I expect with the caliber of costume, design, and sets The Walking Dead usually presents.

Taboo ― “Episode 6” Review. Devil in a Black Dress.

Overall, “Episode 6” is fulfilling. I’m more intrigued now by the deaths that have occurred, and the declaration of war on James. Will he prevail or will the East India Trading Co. get what they are after?

The Walking Dead ― “Rock in the Road” Review. The King and I.

“Rock in the Road” is an interesting mid-season premiere. I might have wanted a bit more action with the Saviors but I know it’s coming in due time.
