“Mirror, Mirror” is an intense but highly entertaining episode. You get a bit of humor from our lovable Kenzi (Ksenia Solo) but it’s of a darker variety, for the most part. The Wtich Baba Yaga is scary. The fable or myth of Baba Yaga, who is Fae by the way, is a cross between Bloody Mary and the witch in Hansel and Gretel.

“The Choice” provides a variety of things to gaze at and relish in. From a ‘bromance’ whose flames are rekindled to a Cardinal showing the Sforzas how things get done, this episode does not skimp on excitement, intrigue, and unexpected revelations.

Seems like everything that can go wrong with opening night does, making for a very interesting episode. Dev (Raza Jaffrey) isn’t returning Karen’s (Katharine McPhee) calls, and Jessica (Savannah Wise) hasn’t been able to reach Ivy (Megan Hilty) either. Michael (Will Chase) returns to the role of Joe DiMaggio, causing huge problems for Julia (Debra Messing) and Tom (Christian Borle). On top of that, Rebecca (Uma Thurman) ends up in the hospital. Yeah, I’d say “all hell breaks loose.”

The name of the game in “The Old Gods and the New” is taking what doesn’t belong to you. A castle is claimed in the name of a lesser prince; dragons go missing without a trace; and the Iron King gets what’s coming to him.

“Face Off” is not a completely light-hearted episode. There are a few humorous moments but overall, the episode tends to lean on the emotionally weighty side. Adam (Gabriel Basso) finally sounds off about his feelings regarding his parent’s decision to adopt a baby. It’s one of the refreshing reasons why I love The Big C. They don’t hold back on the real emotions when they write these scripts and the actors give wonderful performances as they convey a range of feelings – sadness, madness, happiness, frustration, guilt, and love.

Let me start with a question: OMG, how many shoes does Dr. O’Hara (Eve Best) have?! I know she has a thing for them, but really? Jackie (Edie Falco) doesn’t seem at all phased by the massive collection when she takes O’Hara the Disney-shaped pancakes she made for Fiona (Mackenzie Aladjem) and Grace (Ruby Jerins), who Jackie forgot were with Kevin (Dominic Fumusa).

We’ve enjoyed five exciting seasons of In Plain Sight, all filled with interesting witnesses and stories, family drama, love interests, and (Mary McCormack) witticisms. So, I was hopeful the series finale would continue along those lines and I’m happy to say, it does. “All’s Well That Ends Well” does a great job of giving us everything we want while bringing closure to the storylines we’ve faithfully followed over the years. Not the least of which is Mary and Marshall’s (Frederick Weller) relationship. All’s well does, indeed, end well and I loved every minute of it.

I loved “Backslide.” It is engaging, witty, and refreshing. Nick and Caroline’s made up dance to Jess’ I’m-depressed-let-me-wallow-in-self-pity song is surprisingly hilarious.

There is excitement and intrigue as we find our resident badass has a plan to make a break for it with the ever unprotected doppelganger. “Before Sunset” is literally heart stopping indeed, but leaves viewers wondering “What now?”

Connie, The Mare (Kristina Pesic), not only gives you nightmares, she feeds off the fear they provoke.

Brought by such industry giants as Alan Ball (True Blood, Six Feet Under), Greg Yaitanes (House, Lost), Peter Macdissi (Towelhead, Six Feet Under), Jonathan Tropper (author of the New York Times bestseller “This Is Where I Leave You”), and David Schickler (author of “Kissing in Manhattan” and “Sweet and Vicious”), Banshee has begun production in and around Charlotte, NC. The series’ first season will have ten hour-long episodes and will premiere on Cinemax in 2013.

Tech, or should I say technical, issues are at the heart of “Bombshell” after the production heads to Boston and loses its Joe DiMaggio. From a desk being too large, a leading lady with a bad case of the nerves, a director who can’t keep his hands off said leading lady, and a failed marriage proposal, “Tech” presents an excellent look at what can go wrong with a Broadway production before it actually reaches Broadway. Talk about an awful lot of drama!

Surprisingly, I loved The Lost Gate. Granted, it took me quite a while to get into it because I wasn’t sure where Card was going with the story—but once I became engrossed in the tale, I really enjoyed it.

After pulling off one of the grandest of ruses, Cesare (François Arnaud) gets bad news from his trusted abettor, the cunning and ruthless Micheletto (Sean Harris). Micheletto doesn’t think highly of himself, which is evident when he acknowledges Cesare as his “master” as if he were a “stray dog.” Cesare, however, seems very interested in finding more people like Micheletto – men who are not fearful of getting their hands filthy.

If I could start out my review with LMFAO, I would but instead I’ll tell you that “Family Matters” is one of the funniest episodes I’ve seen in all the seasons of The Big C.

What starts out as a serious episode quickly turns hilarious. They say laughter is the best medicine and if it’s true, those watching “Slow Growing Monsters” will be instantly cured. This is one of the best episodes so far this season. The writers are at the top of their game with the fantastic sharp and witty dialogue.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with “Do Not Go Gentle” because I try not to get my hopes up too high. The episode is OK, but lacks any real oomph.

“Tomatoes” is one of the funnier episodes of New Girl to date. I just about laughed at every gag, line and character.
