Elijah’s main concern is being rid of his brother rather than retaliating for being “killed.” Dagger through the heart, remember? Wouldn’t you want revenge if everyone who had something to do with killing you were close at hand?

Review: Justified, Season 1, Ep 12 “Reckoning”
Raylan is hellbent on finding out who the trigger man was; he’s pretty sure it’s Dickie (Jeremy Davies). But he can’t prove it. And Dickie isn’t a fool. He planted his accomplice Jed’s (Richard Speight, Jr.) blood at the crime scene just in case. What Raylan doesn’t know yet is why Dickie was at Arlo’s in the first place.

Review: The Borgias, Season 1, Ep 105 “The Borgias in Love”
The Pope (Jeremy Irons) has a guilty conscience as evident through his nightmares about Lucrezia (Holliday Grainger). As he pulls his daughter’s pale lifeless body from the shallow pool within the Vatican walls, he asks, “Will God ever forgive me?” It’s Lucrezia’s answer that haunts him, “God may forgive you father, but I never will.”

Review – Raising Hope, Season 1, Episode 19 “Cheaters”
Rating: [rating=2] Hiatus ends, and we get this? Hit the snooze button, folks, you didn’t miss a thing. Jimmy (Lucas Neff) has been crushing on his coworker Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) since the start of the season. I can’t figure out why this is; she is the least interesting character on this show. In “Cheaters,” Sabrina is …

Review: The Borgias, Season 1, Ep 104 “Lucrezia’s Wedding”
Despite the title “Lucrezia’s Wedding” it is not solely about Lucrezia’s upcoming nuptials to the grim Giovani Sforza (Ronan Vibert). Her marriage is a key political move orchestrated by her father, Pope Alexander VI (Jeremy Irons). Lucrezia is only 14 years old. She is inexperienced in so many things, it breaks my heart to see her so wide-eyed and naïve as to how things will be in her new marriage.

Review: Camelot, Season 1, Ep 104 “Lady of The Lake”
I am beginning to fall in love with this version of Camelot! It’s not the like the stories I’d heard growing up about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Starz has created a truly grown-up version and I am relishing in its tenacious grip. It evokes a sense of darkness and coveting I’ve never experienced in any other retelling of the tale.

Review – Nurse Jackie, Season 3, Episode 3 – “Play Me”
The words “Play Me” seem to have more than one meaning besides being the title. Perhaps they refer to God (Michael Buscemi, yes he’s Steve Buscemi’s brother, reprising his role from last season) stealing a street piano so he can play it for Zoey (Merritt Wever); or perhaps to Kevin (Dominic Fumusa), who uses his sister Tunie (Jaimie Alexander) to spy on Jackie for him; or it could be Coop (Peter Facinelli) playing Thor (Stephen Wallum) to get his help with a fantasy football league in the hospital. There’s a lot going on in “Play Me,” and it’s all good.

Review – The Killing, Season 1, Episode 2 – “El Diablo”
As “El Diablo” begins, we are once again faced with City Councilman Darren Richmond (Billy Campbell) and his possible role in the murder of Rosie Larsen. Of course, we’re also reintroduced to the horrific scene of last week’s “The Cage” but we’re still no closer to finding out what happened to Rosie.

Movie Review – “Source Code”
“Source Code” is a glitsy, science fiction version of Harold Ramis’ comedy, “Groundhog Day” combined with the twist you would find in “Twilight Zone.” Gyllenhaal does an admirable job with this movie, which is a relief given the amount of flops he’s been in recently. He captures the nuances of his character beautifully, whether it’s Capt. Stevens or Sean.
