“Fear and Loathing” presents us with a unique problem – people’s worst fears are manifesting right before their eyes. All save Audrey Parker (1) (Emily Rose). It seems she isn’t affected by this strange affliction. Everyone else, including Audrey Parker (2) (Kathleen Munroe), is seeing their nightmares come to fruition. Duke (Eric Balfour) sees the tattooed man, who supposedly will kill him one day; others see rabid mad dogs, burn victims, decayed and deceased spouses (eww, zombie!), and scary clowns (shudders). I hate clowns.

Review: Franklin & Bash, S1, E8 – Bangover
Poor Jared (Breckin Meyer) and Peter (Mark-Paul Gosselaar). Why can’t they find a temp who looks like her? Who’s her, you ask? Lily (Anabella Casanova), Stanton Infeld’s (Malcolm McDowell) beautiful niece. Immediately, you can see a connection between Lily and Peter, but Stanton warns him to stay away. You know that’s not going to happen, don’t you?

Review: White Collar, S3, E7 – “Taking Account”
This episode expertly captures the elements that draw in and keep viewers for the past three seasons. It’s fun, peppered with clever entendres and witty dialogue, and revealing, allowing us to see some different sides of our lead characters. But it also left me with a bit of a pit in my stomach thinking through the ramifications of the last scene.

Review: The Big C, Season 2, Ep. 4 “Boo!”
I’m going to play Devil’s advocate now. Cathy has stage-four Melanoma so I understand her being on edge, but I think she’s channeling the ‘bitch’ in “Brave Bitch” embroidered on the t-shirt Andrea makes for her. “I feel braver and bitchier already.” Yeah, her being bitchier is beginning to rub me the wrong way.

Review: #FallingSkies, Season 1, Ep 105 “Sanctuary – Part 1”
“Sanctuary – Part 1” focuses on the human condition when tested and how it can alter lives forever. Anne is assaulted after a couple and their son steal medicine; Terry (guest star Henry Czerny) from 7th Mass unexpectedly arrives to inform Captain Weaver and Tom about new orders from Col. Porter.; Hal becomes concerned about Ben after overhearing a conversation he has with Matt.

Review: The Glades, S2, E6 – “Gibtown”
There are times when the storyline of the central characters enhances a show’s main focus, and times when it distracts viewers from it. “Gibtown” was unfortunately a bit of the latter. The sharp banter, clever dialogue, and bait-and-switch techniques that have been this show’s draw from the start were shadowed by the triangular angst between Jim Longworth (Matt Passmore), Callie Cargill (Kiele Sanchez), and Samantha “Sam” Harper (Natalia Cigliuti).

Review: #WilfredFX, Season 1, Ep 104 “Acceptance” (I’ll never look at peanut butter the same way)
Warning – “Acceptance” is chock full of lewd sexual references, gestures, and language. Wilfred is by far one of my new favorite shows on television right now. The insane, politically incorrect, lewd, crude, and outrageous comedy brings a sense of fulfillment to my slightly demented soul. The more I watch, the more I wish Wilfred (Jason Gann) was my neighbor’s dog so I can have silly adventures like Ryan (Elijah Wood).

Review: White Collar, S3, E6 – “Scott Free”
The chess match begins anew between Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) and Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) with this latest caper. The themes of choice and identity are gaining in strength, leaving viewers to wonder where this tightrope the characters are subconsciously walking will lead, and if we’ll like what we see when we reach that destination.

Review: Leverage, S4, E3 – “The 15 Minutes Job”
This season of Leverage is really upping the stakes for the team. In “The 15 Minutes Job,” the team sets out to take down Rockwell (Michael Gladis) who is, in many ways, a mirror image of Nate (Timothy Hutton). The episode focuses our attention on Nate and his relationship to the team and his own inner demons. Rockwell’s statement “Only our heroes fall” could apply to Nate even as it becomes a basis for this week’s job.

Review: The Big C, Season 2, Ep. 203 “Sexual Healing”
It seems everyone in the neighborhood related to Cathy is having intimacy issues. With the intense cancer treatments, Cathy doesn’t feel much like having sex with Paul; Adam’s girlfriend Mia doesn’t want to rush into things but Adam doesn’t want to hold back; And all Sean can seem to focus on is Rebecca’s “hairy-olas.”

Advance Review: @Syfy #Warehouse13, Season 3, Ep 301 “The New Guy” (Where for art thou, new guy?)
With Myka gone, the omnipresent and formidable Mrs. Frederic (CCH Pounder) must find a suitable new partner for Pete. Enter Steve Jinks (guest star Aaron Ashmore). Steve’s got a knack for knowing when people are lying. As a matter of fact, his ability is downright supernatural. Of course, that hasn’t been proven…yet. What I love about the show are the characters and the various eclectic objects they find. It’s funny, inventive, and charming.

Review: The Glades, S2, E5 – “Dirty Little Secrets”
In the sophomore year of this police drama, “murder is back in season.” But it’s not just the episodic crime mysteries coming across the desk of Homicide Detective Jim Longworth (Matt Passmore) keeping viewers tuned in; it’s the chemistry and shifting dynamics of the police department in Palm Glades, Florida. A captivating cast led by Passmore’s cocky yet charming Longworth entertainingly bounces through personal drama and case-triggered tensions.

Movie Review: “Last Night” Disappoints
“Last Night” is more of a thinking man’s movie. Still, it goes nowhere and lacks in many aspects. For a movie based on sex, seduction and infidelity, there are few sexual scenes. And even those are mediocre and uneventful. I expected more. All in all, “Last Night” disappoints. As a movie with entertainment value, it falls flat. At least for me.

Review: Leverage, S4, E2 – “The 10 Li’l Grifters Job”
This week’s Leverage pays homage to murder mysteries, detectives, and Timothy Hutton’s father, Jim Hutton, and it may be my favorite episode ever. Flashbacks and period costumes are added to the action and humor the show brings every week. The stakes are high as the team must change cons in the middle of the game to keep Nate from going to prison again.

Review: #WilfredFX Wilfred, Season 1, Ep 2 “Trust”
Somehow Ryan gets saddled into taking Wilfred to the vet when Jenna complains about Wilfred’s horrible doggie breath. Things take a dark turn when Wilfred realizes Ryan lied about them going to the movies when they arrive at AMC (Animal Medical Center, not the theatre chain). By the way, Wilfred’s strange obsession with Damon is hysterical! Wilfrism – “Joy farts – they are amazing.”

Review: Franklin & Bash, S1, E5 – “You Can’t Take it With You”
“Franklin & Bash” has to be one of the funniest series I’ve seen in a while. I mean, office chair curling? Yep, that’s how “You Can’t Take it With You” starts and the laughs never stop, despite the seriousness that goes on between Jared (Breckin Meyer) and his father, Leonard (guest star Beau Bridges).

Review: White Collar, S3, E4 – “The Dentist of Detroit”
In the third season of this intriguing procedural, the tagline “choose a side” has never been more appropriate. After the first season of getting to know as much about the characters’ backgrounds as The Powers That Be allowed, season two settled a bit into the ‘buddy’ formula. We got comfortable with Neal Caffrey being a reformed con artist who works with the FBI in an unlikely but appealing partnership with one of their best agents. But the explosive second-season ender tilted our axis and we’ve entered this season with a new game board.
