I’m Really Not Impressed Review: Veep “Full Disclosure”

There aren’t enough gimmicks to bring this show back from the slow downward spiral it’s been on since a few episodes back.

No Rain So The Picture Should Be Clear, Right? Review: The Killing “Bulldog”

Another solid episode of The Killing where we learn a few new things and get a surprise ending.

Do Not Go North People! Season 2 Finale Review: Game of Thrones “Valar Morghulis”

I’m without words as to what just happened, what it means for Westeros and where the next season will take us.

Review: Girls – “Weirdos Need Girlfriends Too”– Can Marnie Be Spontaneous and is Adam Stupid, Weird or both?

“Weirdos Need Girlfriends Too” seems to suggest there must be someone for everyone in this world. Is that really true and what level of weird are we referring to? This week, the series explores if the romantic ideal holds any weight, not only for Hannah (Lena Dunham) but for Marnie (Allison Williams) and Jessa (Jemima Kirke) too.

Have your cake and eat it too… Review: The Borgias “Truth and Lies”

What I loved about “Truth and Lies” were Cesare’s sinister demeanor and the fear in Juan’s eyes. The Pope seems a bit put off by Juan’s recent behavior and, for a brief moment, I hoped the Pope would push the blade into Juan’s throat but instead he just felt sorry for his son. Admittedly, without Juan, there’d be no antagonism in Cesare’s storyline. With only two episodes left, I hope the animosity between Cesare and Juan comes to a head.

Feeling Exposed and Stupid – Review: The Big C “Killjoy”

I really enjoyed “Killjoy.” It brings back the darker edge to the humor like it once had, as well as some juicy backstabbing drama. Joy will do whatever it takes to get her ‘joy’ even if it ruins someone’s life. Paul is becoming more selfish, something I think he picked up from Cathy.

Hot and Cold Feelings Abound. Review: Nurse Jackie – “Chaud & Froid”

As season four begins to wind down, there are major changes underfoot at All Saints. “Chaud & Froid,” the French term for hot and cold, not only deals with the water Jackie (Edie Falco) and Dr. Cruz (Bobby Cannavale) use to revive Charlie (Jake Cannavale) from his drug overdose, but with some vacillating feelings between Jackie and Zoey (Merritt Wever), and Dr. O’Hara (Eve Best) and Coop (Peter Facinelli). This very interesting installment perfectly sets up what’s to come in the remaining two episodes of this amazing season.

Bet You Can’t Guess Whose Kiss Awakens the Princess! Movie Review: Snow White and the Huntsman

I truly believe a standard has been set and I’m interested to see if any other films this year can step up to the plate. So don’t hesitate to check out Snow White and the Huntsman because you won’t be disappointed.

Review: Girls – “Welcome to Bushwick a.k.a The Crackcident”– Best Warehouse Party Ever

Marnie (Allison Williams), Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Jessa (Jemima Kirke) head to a warehouse party and their arrival marks the start of an eventful evening. With “all of Brooklyn and two-thirds of Manhattan” already at the party, they run into familiar faces but their interactions are anything but usual.

Will Rosie’s Case Land Linden In Lockdown Again? Review: The Killing “72 Hours”

While “72 Hours” isn’t the most gripping episode, it’s important. We see a side of Linden that’s so deep it hurts to watch her being ripped open and torn apart. I only hope she can keep it together long enough to put Rosie’s killer away.

Now That’s What I Call A Battle! Review: Game of Thrones “Blackwater”

The foreshadowing in “Blackwater” is epic! If you don’t believe me, go watch it again, then come back to discuss.

“…six-legged octopus of love and camaraderie.” Review: The Big C “How Bazaar”

Cathy must deal with a hole in her wall (of her own making) and Adam’s obnoxious behavior while Paul is away on another speaking gig with Joy. Meanwhile Sean is branching out by dating a married couple. Later, Cathy learns some devastating news about the couple she’s adopting from, Dave and Maxine.

Star-Crossed Lovers? Review: Lost Girl – “It’s Better to Burn Out Than Fae Away”

Both Dark and Light Fae complain that Bo hasn’t chosen sides, but that actually works in their favor because she usually solves their cases. Besides, who can they trust besides Bo to investigate without bias? When will Bo get the thanks she deserves? She’s the only noncommittal Fae they can rely on. She’s loyal to herself and to Kenzi.

Did You Lose Count of the C-word Too? Review: Game of Thrones “The Prince of Winterfell”

Things are really heating up in Westeros. The dragons are still missing; Winterfell is under new rule and betrayal is the name of the game.

Mrs. DoubtMeyer Says It All… Review: Veep “Nicknames”

“Nicknames” reveals a return to funny Veep missed out on in last week’s episode, “Chung.” The wit is there, the jokes are on point and the acting is back to being top notch.

Well, Now You Know What’s On The 10th Floor… Review: The Killing “Sayonara, Hiawatha”

Obsession can be dangerous and I think we’re going to be first hand witnesses. How far is Linden willing to go to capture a killer?

Review: Girls – “The Return”– How to Have Fun: A Michigan Getaway and a Sex Injury

As Marnie (Allison Williams) reminds Hannah (Lena Dunham) about the rent, Hannah heads home to Michigan to be questioned by her parents regarding her non-existent job situation. Will her visit to celebrate her parent’s 30th wedding anniversary turn into a nightmare or will it help her financial situation?

Dementia, A Break-Up, and a Hospital Accident. Review: Nurse Jackie – “Day of the Iguana”

Zoey (Merritt Wever) breaks up with Lenny (Lenny Jacobson) and Jackie (Edie Falco) prepares for her upcoming custody battle. Dr. Cruz (Bobby Cannavale) has an anxiety attack and Gloria (Anna Deavere Smith) revisits her past with a former All Saints employee. “Day of the Iguana” is one of Nurse Jackie’s better episodes this season. It has a wonderful mix of laughter and sadness and I enjoyed every minute of it.

In keeping with its character-driven branding, USA previously announced the pick-up of two non-scripted series, The Choir and The Moment. Now the network has announced the addition of two more non-scripted series that deal with characters in reality situations that “are every bit as fascinating, inspirational and entertaining as our scripted ones,” said USA Co-Presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel.

Movie Review: Virginia (Jennifer Connelly,Ed Harris) “I’m gonna make us peas and carrots tonight…from scratch.”

Living in a small town has its perks but it can also be a nightmare for a well-known sheriff trying to run for state senate. How Tipton (Ed Harris) and Virginia (Jennifer Connelly) have been able kept their affair secret for so long is beyond me but when Virginia finds out something is growing inside her, the truth becomes more twisted than you can imagine. Throw in a couple of botched robbery attempts, a kidnapping, young love, and a whole lot of heart and you have yourself a very entertaining film.
