By now, the entire country is well aware of the devastation Hurricane Sandy wreaked up and down the east coast this past weekend. And here we are, days later, and friends and family, even entire neighborhoods, are still without food, power, and the creature comforts we all take for granted. As this great nation often does, now is the time to pull together and help out any way we can. And that is exactly what HBO and NBC Universal are doing with “Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together.” The live one-hour special will air Friday, November 2 (8-9 pm ET/tape-delayed PT), and all proceeds received will go directly to the American Red Cross relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy.
