Kenzi in Pink! Review: Lost Girl – “Oh Kappa My Kappa”

Kenzi in Pink! Review: Lost Girl - "Oh Kappa My Kappa" 1

But both of them are Faes, with Dyson firmly on the Light Fae side, and Bo somewhere in the middle, still undecided if she wants to go Light or Dark. I see why the Faes want her to choose sides, and her reluctance to choose makes her “dangerous.” How can they trust her otherwise?

Air date: Monday, January 23, 2012, 10/9c on Syfy Rating:   The thing about the Fae is this: They try to stay underground and assimilate in “normal” society. Love Thy Neighbor? Review: 2 Broke Girls - "And The Upstairs Neighbor" 3

REVIEW: 2 Broke Girls, Season 1 Ep. 14 Air date: Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, 8:30/7:30c on CBS RATING: 4 stars I’m not someone who watches sitcoms regularly, because I find many American sitcoms to be dull. Still, I watched an episode of 2 Broke Girls, not expecting to be too amused by it. It’s no …

Review: Raising Hope, Season 1, Episode 22 – “Don’t Vote for this Episode”

Review: Raising Hope, Season 1, Episode 22 - "Don't Vote for this Episode" 4

I don’t feel this episode was a fitting end to the season. Neither do I feel “Raising Hope” is improving. It’s been on a downward spiral since the hilarious first episode. Certainly, Greg Garcia is recycling some of his comedic lines from My Name is Earl. What I really want to see in season 2 is an interesting storyline involving Jimmy.

Review – Raising Hope, Season 1, Episode 21 – “Baby Monitor”

Review - Raising Hope, Season 1, Episode 21 - "Baby Monitor" 5

I think it’s human nature to be curious about other people. When the Chances learn they have new neighbors, they resort to eavesdropping through Hope’s baby monitor. It’s not exactly planned. You see, they discover they can do this by accident, which just makes it easier to say, “Hey, I didn’t know I could do …

Sooner rather than later, though, it’s Sabrina who gets stuck cleaning the trout. Now the competition is on!

Twenty years earlier, Maw Maw instilled in him a fear of the Doghead Man, a character from a horror film. She would taunt him and say the Doghead Man would come and eat him.

Sunrise, Wyoming. March 5, 1861. It’s the time of the Wild West. Dean (Jensen Ackles) is locked in a standoff, and the scene closes with the sound of gunshots.

Review – Raising Hope, Season 1, Episode 19 “Cheaters”

Review - Raising Hope, Season 1, Episode 19 "Cheaters" 9

Rating:  Hiatus ends, and we get this? Hit the snooze button, folks, you didn’t miss a thing. Jimmy (Lucas Neff) has been crushing on his coworker Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) since the start of the season. I can’t figure out why this is; she is the least interesting character on this show. In “Cheaters,” Sabrina is …

Immediately, you get the sense that something is not right. Thanks to Balthazar (Sebastian Roche), of all demons.

Review: Raising Hope, Season 1, Ep. 16 "The Cultish Personality" 11

Virginia is aghast and Burt can only mutter “Neat. Neat. Neat stuff.” Baby Hope finds it all amusing. Say what you want about the Chances, but they subscribe to monogamy and aren’t keen on telling Bruce where his son has been all this time.
