TV/Comic-Con: Interviews with GRIMM Cast at Comic-Con 2012

Share

Grimm is one of my favorite new shows on television. I’ve always loved the Grimm Brothers’ fairy tales and to have them come to life in such a unique way truly makes for entertaining television.

While at Comic-Con this year, I had the opportunity to attend the Grimm press room and speak with several cast members, including: Bree Turner (Rosalee), Sasha Roiz (Cpt. Sean Renard), Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette), and Silas Weir Mitchell (Monroe). I also got a brief moment to speak with executive producers Todd Milliner and Sean Hayes.

While I didn’t get a lot of huge spoilers from the tight-lipped cast, Roiz did mention a fabulous tidbit on a guest star for season two – James Frain (The Tudors, True Blood), who will portray Cpt. Renard’s brother. This should prove most interesting – two brothers after one Grimm. Frain is a fantastic actor, too! He’s played in so many films and his turn as the demented Franklin Mott on True Blood was amazing.

Another tidbit, although we may not see it happen, is a cat fight between Tulloch’s character Juliette and the femme fatale Adalind (Claire Coffee). Tulloch says “I’d take her down.”

I am so happy the show is returning to television so soon! I’m very much looking forward to finding out what happens to Juliette; will Nick (David Giuntoli) confide his secret to Hank (Russell Hornsby); and where has Nick’s mother (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) been all these years?

Judy Manning

Dream chaser extraordinaire! Judy tends to be a tad sarcastic and kind of goofy! She is an avid admirer of all things supernatural, paranormal, celestial and mystical. She loves to read, write, and watches way too much TV. She enjoys many genres of film and music (and let's be honest, most music from the 80s). She also has a wicked sweet tooth. Cupcakes beware.
