TV NEWS: Syfy’s Powerful Mondays Kicks Off 2013 with LOST GIRL, BEING HUMAN, and New Series CONTINUUM

I’ve been eagerly anticipating the return of Lost Girl and Being Human, but I got a chance to watch the first two episodes of the newly acquired series Continuum and I have to say I am digging it. The series stars Rachel Nichols as Kiera Cameron from the year 2077 who gets inadvertently pulled back to 2012 when a group of terrorists try to avoid their execution. Now Kiera, as she tries to figure out a way to get back to the future (yes, I said it), must partner with present day police detective Carlos Fonnegra (Victor Webster) as they try to solve the strange crimes that have been happening since Kiera arrived. It’s action packed and very high-tech.

Though desperate to get back to her husband and son, Kiera concentrates on bringing down the terrorists before they change the course of history.
