Love, love, absolutely love Haven! After doing a marathon of season one in preparation to review season two, my love affair with Haven blossomed with each episode. It has drama, mystery, suspense, sarcasm, dark comedy, a little blood and gore, all sprinkled heavily with some supernatural elements – what more could you ask for in a show based on the master of horror himself, Stephen King’s The Colorado Kid. It’s hard to believe the season’s already come to an end. I’ll be counting the months until season three!

In a press release today from Syfy:

NEW YORK – September 26, 2011

Season Two of Syfy’s popular series Haven comes to a shattering conclusion on Friday, September 30 at 10PM (ET/PT) when the dead rise up, bringing shocking revelations to Audrey (Emily Rose), Nathan (Lucas Bryant) and Duke (Eric Balfour) and pointing to a coming battle which threatens to split the town forever.  Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica) will guest star.

The special multi-episode Twitter story line will also culminate in the September 30 episode.

During its second season, Haven is the #1 scripted cable entertainment program during its 10-11PM time period among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54, based on full Live+7 data. Compared to Season One, Haven is up six percent among both total viewers and Adults 18-49, also based on full Live +7 data.

Based on renowned author Stephen King’s The Colorado Kid, the series follows former FBI agent Audrey Parker (Rose), who becomes a cop in the small town of Haven, Maine, and soon discovers the town’s many secrets, which also holds the key to unlocking the mysteries of her lost past.

Judy Manning

Dream chaser extraordinaire! Judy tends to be a tad sarcastic and kind of goofy! She is an avid admirer of all things supernatural, paranormal, celestial and mystical. She loves to read, write, and watches way too much TV. She enjoys many genres of film and music (and let's be honest, most music from the 80s). She also has a wicked sweet tooth. Cupcakes beware.
