What Does It Take To Get Laid During A Pandemic?

Puss to Premiere March 16 at SXSW 1

3-13-2021. Multi-hyphenate Leah Shore (Filmmaker Magazine‘s “25 New Faces of Independent Film” 2013) returns to SXSX with a new live-action short PUSS, their fifth film programmed at the festival. Loosely based on the filmmaker’s own experience, PUSS is a surreal, scandalous, hilarious, and extremely relatable story of Gabriela, who is spending the pandemic locked down alone, bored, and thirsty. Gabriela’s search for close human contact only leads to frustration – until her pent-up desire bubbles over and explodes in a delirious fever dream.

Logline: Samantha really wants to get laid, but is having a hard time for some reason.
