What could have been an awkward moment becomes fun with the honest, light-hearted dialogue and terrific delivery by both Ferrera and Falco. Although, I did glimpse a bit of fear in Jackie’s eyes before she turns the light out. Could it be that not all is what it appears to be?

In a press release yesterday, HBO announced the premiere date for “Gideon’s Army,” a documentary about the criminal justice system as seen through the eyes of idealistic young public defenders in the deep south. Directed by attorney Dawn Porter and winner of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival Editing Award for U.S. Documentary Competition, the thought-provoking film debuts Monday, July 1 (9:00-10:45 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.
