Good Intentions. Review: White Collar – “No Good Deed”

When one of the gold coins Peter (Tim DeKay) has been searching for shows up at a pawn shop, he figures he is one step closer to figuring out what Neal (Matt Bomer) is up to. Phantom of the Suck It. Review: Psych: The Musical

The success of Psych: The Musical hinges on Roday who carries the episode with a level of seriousness, giving it a legitimate feel without losing the familiar Psych humor. A lot of credit also goes to the show’s creator Steve Franks, who directed and wrote all of the songs.

What a Fun Way to Spend Christmas. Movie Review: Grudge Match

Grudge Match is one of the funniest, feel good movies I’ve seen in a while. I laughed almost from the very beginning of the movie to the very end, ranging from chuckles to good, old-fashioned belly laughs.

Stefan to the Rescue, Again… Review: The Vampire Diaries – “Fifty Shades of Grayson”

I’m not too enthused with this week’s offering of The Vampire Diaries (TVD). I hate the title of the episode, for one, and it doesn’t really move along the plot. I have to say this feels like a filler episode, and not a very good one at that.

Otherworldly Door. Review: Haven — “The Lighthouse”

“The Lighthouse” picks up where “When the Bough Breaks” left off. There’s a disturbing glimmer in Audrey’s (Emily Rose) eyes as she places her blackened hand upon Duke’s (Eric Balfour) chest to re-trouble him. Maybe it’s just me, or maybe I’m greedy but I expected more from this season finale—with it being a two-parter, no less. Don’t get me wrong, the mind-boggling ending is an absolute doozy. Lives are at stake, and that makes me worried for what could happen in season five (which has yet to be formally confirmed). My four star rating is mainly based on Colin Ferguson’s brilliance in his portrayal of William, and for the strange events leading up to the final scenes.

Naughty List, Uncheck. Review: Grimm – “Twelve Days of Krampus”

Now “Twelve Days of Krampus” is what I call a helluva mid-season finale! You know part of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” that goes, “you better not cry, you better not pout?” For Krampus, it should go, “you better not steal anything or Krampus will beat you and eat you.” “Twelve Days of Krampus” isn’t for little ones under the age 10 because it may scare the eggnog out of them. This guy is no joke and I love it!

Still Feeling Cold. Review: Grimm – “Cold Blooded”

“Cold Blooded” in no way, shape, or form remotely gives way to anything in “Twelve Days of Krampus.” “Cold Blooded” deals with a type of reptilian Wesen known as “Gelumcaedus.” Sounds kind of harmless until you come across one of these fearsome creatures. With a grip like an alligator, you’re pretty much screwed if one of these things grabs ahold of your limbs. The sewers of Portland have more than twigs blocking them.

Jurassic Central Park. Review: White Collar – “Digging Deeper”

Peter (Tim DeKay) is hot on Neal’s (Matt Bomer) trail, if only he knew what that trail was. Will Peter be able to figure out what Neal is up to before it’s too late? Meanwhile, there is a T-Rex missing in New York.

The Clairvoyant. Retrospective: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D – “The Bridge”

Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team are called in when it is learned that a group of soldiers involved in a daring prison break to free Edison Po (Cullen Douglas) are using Centipede, a device that injects Extremis into the body giving the person super human strength. Realizing his team is no match in a hand-to-hand fight, Coulson calls for the unlikeliest of backups.

Conf Call: Grimm’s David Giuntoli Talks About Season 3 and Clip from “Krampus”

Check out a clip from the upcoming mid-season finale “Twelve Days of Krampus.” As David says in a conference call, “We ruin Christmas for everybody and it’s gory and it’s wonderful.” Read more from David’s conference call and find out which is his favorite Wesen and what he thinks about his new Grimm abilities. And he also mentions going abroad quite a bit for the show.

Tempting Fate. Review: Sleepy Hollow – “The Golem”

Ichabod and Abbie enlist the help of their mutual friend Henry Parrish (guest star John Noble), aka “The Sin Eater,” to help bridge the gap between worlds. I’m sure Ichabod wasn’t expecting to be put near death to reach it.

Karma and a Lesson on Family Feelings. Retrospective: Sons of Anarchy – “A Mother’s Work”

As I reflect on the final moments of “A Mother’s Work,” I remain in a state of disbelief. Did that really happen? For anyone familiar with show creator Kurt Sutter’s work, the complex chain of events that unfold in the Sons of Anarchy season finale shouldn’t come as a surprise— but it may leave folks gasping for air.

Spoiler Free. Advance Review: Psych: The Musical

TV has a popular term called “jumping the shark;” it signifies the moment a television show starts to decline and the writers come up with a gimmick in a desperate attempt to keep viewers interested. It’s a description that fits my reaction to the announcement that Psych would be doing a two-hour musical episode.

Love, Guns, and Infamy. Review: Bonnie & Clyde

There’s a special sort of romanticism with the notorious criminals Bonnie and Clyde. Over the years, their glorified deaths, under a hail of bullets in 1934, have captivated the public’s attention…All the sex, drama, and violence surrounding their rampage in the South have the makings of a Lifetime movie; so it’s no surprise the network revitalized the couple’s harrowing tale in the unprecedented two night event, Bonnie & Clyde, starring Emile Hirsch as Clyde Barrow and Holliday Grainger as Bonnie Parker.

Trouble Maker. Retrospective: Haven — “When the Bough Breaks”

Who is Audrey Parker (Emily Rose)? This question has been asked before but there’s hasn’t been many clues…until now. Even though “When the Bough Breaks” doesn’t tell us exactly who Audrey Parker is, we get a glimpse of the person she was when she was with William (Colin Ferguson).
