The Americans – “Salang Pass” Retrospective. This and That.

Pardon me, but I can’t start my review until I finish eating all the Jiffy Pop™ and Rocky Road ice cream in my house. Lord, this episode gave me the munchies, which isn’t necessarily a good thing. Although, my snacks took my mind off how bored I was watching “Salang Pass.”

Justified – “Alive Day” Review. The Unknown Unknown.

We are at the mid-point of the final season of Justified and I’m no closer to figuring out the end game. I am sure all the major story arcs intertwine more deeply than what has been presented, but surprisingly, I’m not upset about the lack of clues. In fact, I’m enjoying the unpredictability of how the season has been panning out. I don’t know what’s going to happen next and I’m relishing in the unknown.

Castle – “The Wrong Stuff” Recap. Lost in Space Suits.

“The Wrong Stuff” is a much needed departure from the tension and is a fun, entertaining, and Castle-esque episode. When a case arises involving Major Tom Richwood (Yves Bright), a murdered astronaut on a “Mars 2018” space simulation, the only way Beckett, Castle, and Esposito (Jon Huertas) are allowed to question the other astronauts is to don space suits. While Castle thinks this is “the best case ever,” Ryan (Seamus Dever) isn’t as enthusiastic about stepping onto Mars, fake or not, so he stays behind in the command center to conduct other aspects of the investigation.

Sleepy Hollow Season 2 Finale – “Tempus Fugit” Review. The Choices We Make.

Throughout season two, Sleepy Hollow has taken us on an adventurous, albeit tumultuous, journey filled with mystery, intrigue, doubt, and betrayal. While there have been occasional moments of laughter and joy, even a brief reconciliation, the irreparable damages inflicted by the choices of our main characters come to a decisive head in “Tempus Fugit,” forever altering and destroying relationships.

The Walking Dead – “The Distance” Review. Spidey Senses on Full Alert.

I’m not sure what’s going to happen next, but I have a feeling it’s not the hope everyone is looking for. I’m siding with Rick, no matter what.

Vikings – Advance Review of Season Three. A Bigger and More Complex Season

Vikings’ fans are probably biting their nails in anticipation of the show’s return, and I’m happy to report they are in for a real treat. The Vikings set sail seeking new adventures and with Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and his inner circle moving up i royal circles, season three will concentrate on embarking on a more complicated journey with more complex conflicts and darker enemies. Greater power and prosperity may certainly open up opportunities but they also invite thornier challenges.

The Walking Dead – “Them” Review. What’s for Dinner?

I enjoyed “Them” and loved how Reedus, Cohen, and Martin-Greene peeled back the layers on their characters.

Castle – “Reckoning” Recap. Like a Moth to the Flame. Shocking and Suspenseful!

“Reckoning” is a pulse pounding, intense episode that will put you on an emotional roller coaster. Ranging from frustration, sadness, grief, fear, anger, vengeance, and relief; the suspenseful nature of “Reckoning” cannot be missed. The intensity is palpable throughout and not something I can convey in a recap. This is a must see episode. I found myself biting my nails and I haven’t done that while watching a television episode in a very long time. Be warned, there is graphic violence in “Reckoning” that might be jarring to some viewers.
