#Syfy continues to expand its roster of global programming, announcing that it has acquired Haunting: Australia, an eight-part unscripted series featuring six of the best ghost hunters in the world. Haunting: Australia will premiere on Syfy Tuesday, March 24.

Generally speaking, “Rite of Passage” is a very entertaining episode. Writer Etan Frankel does a good job with the dialogue, especially between Fiona and Gus, Fiona and Lip, and Frank and Laura. I also enjoy how much Debbie and Carl are connecting, working together on their various schemes.

By definition, the term ‘noblesse oblige’ means those of high birth, powerful social position, etc., have the moral obligation to act with honor, kindliness, generosity, etc. It’s safe to say many of the folks in Harlan, KY aren’t born of nobility nor do they know what it means. I’m guessing the few who do know or have any inkling of what it means are the ones running things. Avery Markham (Sam Elliott) is one of them.

“What do all cocky men do?” If that isn’t a loaded question, I don’t know what is. What I do know is “I, Witness” is chock full of red herrings, suspects, and a whodunit fit for superb mystery novel. When Eva Whitfield (Brianna Brown), Castle’s (Nathan Fillion) former classmate, asks him to find out whether her husband Cole (Ivan Sergei) is cheating, he gets more than he bargained for. Turns out his new client ends up dead! Queue dramatic music.

“Rule No. 3: Don’t Stand in the Doorway” does a great job of addressing the fears in all of us. From the simplest—Charlie’s fear of the dark—to the more serious—Delia’s fear of commitment, and Abby’s avoidance of Will (Warren Christie), everyone faces their worst fears in “Rule No. 3.”

“A Night to Remem-Wait, What?” is, without a doubt, the best episode of the season so far. Episodic writer Davey Holmes outdoes himself with the ongoing story lines and brilliant dialogue. The episode revolves mainly around Fiona and Frank, and both Rossum and Macy steal almost every scene they’re in.

Portland has constantly been dubbed as “weird” throughout Grimm, and rightfully so. There are Grimms and all kinds of Wesen running around so it seems only natural that other paranormal anomalies might exist in the world. Are ghosts lurking around Portland or is this a case of a unique Wesen wreaking havoc on the “Ghost Seekers,” a local ghost hunting crew? “Death Do Us Part” is a fantastic and engaging episode. While most episodes of Grimm pick up where the previous episode left off, I enjoyed the diversion writer Jeff Miller provides in showcasing an amateur ghost hunting team as they investigate the “Donovan house,” a home with a sordid history of deadly consequences.

“EST Men” unfortunately lacks the suspense, intensity, and passion that was so prevalent in previous seasons, except for the opening scene, which had me holding my breath. That is not to say I didn’t enjoy the season premiere, as I did. “EST Men” is too busy setting up the third season of The Americans to include the same level of action sequences we’ve seen before. It would be unreasonable to expect that. I’m sure there will be plenty of edge-of-your-seat scenes to thrill us as the season moves forward.
