Justified – “Fugitive Number One” Review. Take the Money and Run…or Not.

Things are getting downright bloody in this final season of Justified. “Fugitive Number One” gives tragedy a new spin and loyalties are put to the ultimate test. The U.S. Marshals’ office and the District Attorney’s office are wondering what side Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) is truly on, causing the doubts and accusations to fly.

Castle – “Habeas Corpse” Recap. Taking a Bite Out of Crime.

When Richie “The Pitbull” Falco (Scott Broderick), a personal injury lawyer, is found tortured and bludgeoned to death in a dark alleyway, the list of suspects is quite extensive. Of all the companies he’s sued on behalf of his clients, more than one may be holding a grudge. But as evidence comes to light, it looks like there is more to our dogged (pun intended) seeker of justice.

Grimm – “Double Date” Retrospective. Winging It.

If this week’s episodic quote isn’t cryptic enough, there are many other mysteries embedded within “Double Date” that will definitely make you go hmm. The title of this week’s Grimm is a bit misleading. Typically, double date implies two couples going out for the evening, but in “Double Date,” the meaning is more … well, it’s duplicitous to the nth degree.

The Comedians – Advance Review. The Billy and Josh Show.

The Comedians is a remake of the 2004 Swedish series Ulveson and Herngren. Both shows are filmed as a mocumentary that follows two comedians playing themselves, one famous and the other on the rise, who are reluctantly paired together to do a skit program for television.

The Americans – “Do Mail Robots Dream of Electric Sheep?” Review. Collateral Damage.

“Do Mail Robots Dream of Sheep?” proves you don’t need a tremendous amount of suspense and intrigue to be a great episode. While there is a small amount of tension, mostly from the scenes involving Oleg and Zinaida, and Hans and Todd, the emotionality is what makes this episode stand out from the others. And stand out it does with terrific dialogue, expert direction, and, as usual, outstanding performances from everyone involved.

Justified – “Trust” Review. Feminine Wiles, Indeed.

Unpredictability – it’s a key ingredient for any good TV drama, and this final season of Justified seems to have it in spades. I’ve mulled over many plot points this season and I’m not sure who will be left standing in the end. I will say this; what Ava (Joelle Carter) does in “Trust” takes the damn cake. “Trust” is definitely a thought provoking and eyebrow raising episode. From Boyd revealing a little tidbit to Markham about how he came to know about his money to Ava taking matters into her own hands, “Trust” takes us for a wild ride …

Castle – “At Close Range” Recap. The Grassy Knoll…Sort of.

For Castle fans who’ve been eagerly awaiting another Det. Kevin Ryan (Seamus Dever) centric episode, “At Close Range” is right up your alley. From politicians and political activists, to family drama via the in-laws, “At Close Range” takes a shot (pun intended) from inside a swanky fund raising event. But who’s the real target? Could it be the up and coming Congressman Alex Lopez (guest star Ricardo Chavira), or perhaps the kind-hearted philanthropic Carolyn Decker (Annie Little), whose ambitious foundation, “Pure Water,” is helping people on a global scale. Let’s find out, shall we?
