CBS logo (small) BW

There is a lot happening in Chester’s Mill during the third season of Under the Dome! I was delighted to catch up with some of the show’s cast during the CBS press event at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. Mike Vogel, who plays Dale Barbie Barbara, Marg Helgenberger, who plays Christine Price, and Colin Ford as Joe McAlister were eager to talk about what is going on with their characters during the new season.

Video: iZombie – SDCC Press Room Interviews with EPs and the Cast

Going into this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, iZombie had already aired its first season finale, leaving fans wondering how things will play out in the upcoming second season. Normally, talking to executive producers is either informative and fun or painstakingly brutal. I absolutely adore Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggerio-Wright, both of whom are also writers on iZombie. Their fun chemistry and collaborative friendship lend to the smart, sarcastic, and entertaining dialogue the cast of the show gets to act out each week.

VIDEO: Interviews From CBS Press Room at SDCC – Limitless, Under the Dome, Scorpion

The CBS press room at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con could easily be described as a bit of a zoo; perhaps it’s a simple coincidence that Zoo is also the name of one of CBS’ new summer series. I don’t think I’ve ever been inside a press room that included so many different shows—Limitless, Under the Dome, Zoo, Scorpion, and Extant. While I didn’t get to talk to each show’s actors or even the executive producers, there were several interviews I did get that really impressed me, as follows.

Against his better judgment, Harvey (Gabriel Macht) agrees to step outside his legal comfort zone to help Louis (Rick Hoffman) with a case of a personal nature. Meanwhile, against Mike’s (Patrick J. Adams), Robert (Wendell Pierce) is ready to settle the class action suit he and Mike are working on.

Meanwhile, our favorite Ukrainian exterminator, Vasiliy Fet (Kevin Durand), is ready to take his beloved city back, building by building if need be. In “BK, NY,” we get a history lesson, learning a great deal about how The Master came to be, and more about the mysterious group of Strigoi I refer to as the Strigoi SWAT team.
