Six Naked and Afraid All-Star survivalists return to take on locations so dangerous they put their elite skills to the ultimate test. This season also features Naked and Afraid’s first threesome challenge, a four-survivalist Battle of the Sexes as well as the first couple to take on this challenge. This season is the “coolest” yet of the popular series.  Featuring the most diverse survival situations and participants including a young outdoorsmen who gained national fame after surviving attacks by a rattlesnake, bear and shark. NAKED AND AFRAID is back and all bets are off.   Forget those warm beaches – this season Naked survivalists will be chilled to the bone as they fight to survive through the harsh conditions of Alaska’s frozen tundra.  This is Frozen and Afraid.

Even with the harsher elements and survival situation, personal skill, a good partner or partners, and the will to keep going no matter what comes your way is a typical path to success.  Each man and woman will have to grapple with immeasurable anguish as they attempt to create shelter, forage for food, and find water in the nude. The perils of the wild and the harsh elements are more terrifying than ever before, and only the strongest – both physically and mentally – will come out on the other side of their personal endurance challenge.

There has never been a worse time to be naked…and afraid.

NAKED AND AFRAID is produced for Discovery Channel by Renegade 83; David Garfinkle, Jay Renfroe, Steve Rankin and Mathilde Bittner are executive producers. For Discovery, Joseph Boyle and Michael Gara are executive producers and Greg Wolf is coordinating producer.
