News: Discovery Jumpstarts New Year's Day with <i>Street Outlaws: Bristol Road to 200k</i> 1

With $200,000 on the line, – the largest winner take all payout in the history of Street Outlaws –  32 of the fastest male and female racers in the country rev up their engines to compete at the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway.  Join some of the top racers in Street Outlaws history on the track as they prepare to go from “A to B.”  And the action isn’t only race day. Veteran drivers Farmtruck and AZN are joined by 2018 Monster Energy Series Championship winner Joey Logano as they preview the track during prep day.

Big money and bragging rights are at stake when the night of racing begins.  STREET OUTLAWS: BRISTOL ROAD TO 200K premieres at 7pm ET/PT followed by the all new two-hour episode STREET OUTLAWS: BRISTOL RACE TO $200K premieres New Year’s Day, Tuesday January 1 at 8pm ET/PT.

This year, the Outlaws must face the elements when a bout of rain descends upon the track, changing their race strategy last minute.  But all racers know that the state of the track is no excuse for a lost race.

Dressed in sportscasters’ coats and equipped with a player chalkboard on the hood of a car, Farmtruck and AZN give their always colorful analysis. NASCAR superstar Joey Logano joins the duo in the booth to cover the no prep practice runs.  Loganogoes “in the pits” and interviews many of the racers including last year’s winner Big Chief about the upcoming race where “life-changing money,” is on the line.

Viewers will also be able to stream live, on the Discovery GO app – free with their paid TV subscription.
