News - Bones Renewed for Season 8! - Your Entertainment Corner

Everyone’s favorite forensic investigators return with a new arrival on Monday, April 2, 8:00 pm ET/PT on Fox. Even more exciting is the news that Bones has been renewed for its eighth season, as announced today by Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

“Over the past seven seasons, Hart Hanson, Stephen Nathan and the incredible BONES cast and crew have redefined the traditional crime procedural with an irreverent and adventurous sensibility and I’m really happy to have this distinctive, fan-favorite on our schedule for another season,” Reilly said.

Bones will be celebrating another milestone event during Season 8 with its 150th episode. Given how special Bones’ previous milestones have been, I’m sure this one will be just as exciting, if not more.

Bones’ return on April 2 starts off with “The Prisoner in the Pipe,” dealing with a murder that occurs within prison walls. When Brennan (Emily Deschanel) insists on solving the crime – despite Booth’s (David Boreanaz) pleas for her not to overexert herself – the expectant couple experiences a very non-traditional arrival of their baby daughter.
