Disney Channel's Original Movie Sequel <i>Zombies 2</i> Announces Werewolves Casting and Starts Production 1

The roles of three teen werewolves (siblings Willa and Wyatt and their packmate Wynter) have been cast for the movie sequel eagerly awaited by millions of kids and tweens—”ZOMBIES 2.” Actors Pearce Joza (Disney’s “Mech X-4”), Chandler Kinney (Fox’s “Lethal Weapon”) and top social media personality Ariel Martin (aka Baby Ariel) will join the cast of the Disney Channel Original Movie, debuting next year. Reprising their roles are fan favorites from the first movie Kylee Russell as Eliza, Trevor Tordjman as Bucky, Carla Jeffery as Bree, James Godfrey as Bonzo and Kingston Foster as Zoey, with the previously announced stars Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim as Addison and Zed, respectively. Production begins on May 27.

The epic robot-fighting series BattleBots is set for its second season on Discovery Channel and Science Channel. BattleBots features the world’s biggest, baddest, strongest, and fastest next-generation robots from all over the world as they duke it out for robot fighting supremacy. 2018 Champion Bite Force will return to defend its title against top competition including perennial contenders Tombstone, Minotaur, Witch Doctor, Bronco, Bombshell, and Yeti. Eight two-hour episodes will begin airing Friday, June 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Discovery, while Science will air on Wednesday nights from 8-10pm starting June 12.

CBS unveiled its new year-round 2019-2020 primetime programming lineup featuring four new comedies, four new dramas and 24 returning series.

The five new shows for fall include three comedies: BOB ♥ ABISHOLA from award-winning executive producer, writer and creator Chuck Lorre, starring Billy Gardell and Folake Olowofoyeku; CAROL’S SECOND ACT, starring three-time Emmy Award winner Patricia Heaton; and THE UNICORN, starring Walton Goggins. The two dramas are EVIL, a psychological mystery from acclaimed producers Michelle and Robert King, starring Katja Herbers and Mike Colter; and the courthouse ensemble ALL RISE.
