Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving Cast As Bill & Ted’s Daughters In Upcoming Bill & Ted Face the Music, In Theaters Aug 2020
Hammerstone Studios announced that rising stars Brigette Lundy-Paine (“Atypical,” The Glass Castle) and Samara Weaving (The Babysitter, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) have been cast in BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC as Billie Logan (Lundy-Paine) and Thea Preston (Weaving), the daughters of the eponymous time traveling duo who join their fathers in their quest to save the universe.

NBC’s Competition Series Bring the Funny Premieres July 9, 40 Comedy Acts Set To Compete
For decades NBC has opened the door for countless comedians and continues to carry the legacy as a home for comedy with the launch of its new competition show, “Bring the Funny.”

FX has set the premiere date for the second season of the award-winning and groundbreaking drama series Pose from Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions. The ten-episode second season of Pose will debut on Sunday, June 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FX. Starz Picks Up VIDA For Third Season
Starz has been picked up for a third season.
Winner of the 2019 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comedy series, “Vida” was created by Tanya Saracho, who executive produces alongside Big Beach TV’s Robin Schwartz, Peter Saraf and Marc Turtletaub with Stephanie Langhoff. In the second season of “Vida,” Lyn and Emma begin the monumental task of rebuilding their mother’s business while navigating financial constraints, competing developers, and the growing anti-gentrification movement. Lyn and Emma must contemplate the relationships in their lives, including their own, and are forced to dig deep to unearth what their mother’s legacy means to them.

Disney XD has ordered a third season of the Emmy Award-nominated animated series “Marvel’s Spider-Man” for a spring 2020 premiere. The web-slinging series follows Peter Parker, who is learning to navigate life as the teenage superhero Spider-Man. In the third season, titled “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Maximum Venom,” Spider-Man is pushed to his breaking point when Venom summons an earth-shattering threat from its home planet.

Showtime Announces Official Title for The L Word Sequel – The L Word: Generation Q, Premiering Fall 2019
SHOWTIME has announced the official title of its highly anticipated sequel – THE L WORD: GENERATION Q, which will debut this fall on SHOWTIME. Marja-Lewis Ryan (The Four-Faced Liar, 6 Balloons) serves as showrunner and is executive producing with original series creator Ilene Chaiken and original series stars Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey. Documentary Smithsonian Time Capsule: Beyond Stonewall Celebrates 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, Premieres June 24
On June 28, 1969, a routine police raid of a gay bar in New York City turned into a violent conflict that ignited protests lasting for days. The Stonewall Inn Uprising is celebrated by many as the birth of the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. But the history of gay life in America extends far before and after Stonewall.
