“Thrown from the Ride” is not too different from the past two episodes, “Whirly Girly” and “Surfing the Aftershocks,” of Pretty Little Liars (PLL) to say the least. We are still looking into the girls’ lives after Alison’s (Sasha Pieterse) return home. Where is all the mystery, you may ask. I’m not quite sure. What I do know is “Thrown from the Ride” is emotionally complicated.

Given the events of “Whirly Girly,” Alison (Sasha Pieterse) locks herself in her room for days. What a way for PLL to welcome Alison back after disappearing for two years. In the background, we hear the girls ask whether they can see Alison but her father (Jim Adele) tells them it’s not a good time.

ABC Family’s hit TV series, Pretty Little Liars (PLL) is back at it again with a very special ALIVE guest—Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse)! Shame on executive producer I. Marlene King for not realizing we’re not naive enough to believe Alison was really dead. Since she’s back now, has she changed for the better? Or is she going to cause even more trouble and madness than before? Hopefully we will know by the end of the season or perhaps, even sooner. But I think having Alison back in the flesh will bring a whole lot of dynamic into the show.
