July 29, 2019 — Reports coming in that STX Entertainment/STXFilms has moved the premiere date again for Chadwick Boseman’s latest film 21 Bridges. Originally it was scheduled to premiere July 12. During San Diego Comic-Con, the date was moved to September 27. And now we’ve learned it has been moved once again to November 22 – just in time for Thanksgiving.

According to reports from Deadline, it seems the date change is in direct correlation to the Russo Brothers, directors of Avengers Endgame, and producers on this film, announced their upcoming slate.

21 BRIDGES (formerly known as 17 Bridges) follows an embattled NYPD detective (Chadwick Boseman), who is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 21 BRIDGES to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.
