For me, the news of so many Golden Globe® nominations for Showtime puts a big smile on my face. I’m not prejudiced or anything but I do review a majority of the shows that received these accolades. Also, hearing that so many of my favorite actors were nominated makes me even happier. The Affair was nominated for Best Television Series, Drama, and both Ruth Wilson and Dominic West received nods as well. More Showtime actors also received the coveted nominations—Claire Danes for Homeland, Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight for their roles in Ray Donovan, Edie Falco for Nurse Jackie, Don Cheadle for House of Lies, and last, but certainly not least, William H. Macy for Shameless.
