Following last year’s dramatic success in introducing the hit series Defiance at Comic-Con, Syfy will use 2013 Comic-Con International (July 18-21) as the launch pad for its newest scripted series Helix. The new thriller about a mysterious outbreak at a desolate Arctic outpost from Battlestar Galactica’s Ronald D. Moore will premiere on Syfy in January 2014.
