Following last night's episode of The Vampire Diaries, The CW gave an early pick up to The Originals, the highly anticipated spin-off of the vampire-based series. The network also decided to give early orders for the second season of Beauty and the Beast, and the third season of Hart of Dixie. This follows the previously announced pickup orders for Arrow, The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural.
