Exciting news for fans of FX’s Emmy®-winning series Justified. Academy Award^®-winning actress Mary Steenburgen is joining the cast as “Katherine Hale,” a beautiful, southern belle who was the wife of Wynn Duffy’s (Jere Burns) mentor-in-crime. She will first appear in the tenth episode of the current fifth season and will recur for the rest of the season.

Steenburgen’s most recent role was in the movie Last Vegas, but she is most known for her part in Back to the Future. She has appeared in many TV series, including Joan of Arcadia, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bored to Death, 30 Rock, and most recently, Wilfred.

Steenburgen’s stint on Wilfred as Ryan’s (Elijah Wood) slightly mental mother is a stark contrast to her upcoming role on Justified. This season is getting very complicated for everyone and I’m curious as to what her role will be aside from being Tonin’s (Adam Arkin) ex. Will she hook up with anyone?
