If Cinemax's Strike Back is any indication of what the network can offer in the way of exciting and mesmerizing entertainment, then its new action series Banshee is sure to be a big hit. Brought by such industry giants as Alan Ball (True Blood, Six Feet Under), Greg Yaitanes (House, Lost), Peter Macdissi (Towelhead, Six Feet Under), Jonathan Tropper (author of the New York Times bestseller “This Is Where I Leave You”), and David Schickler (author of “Kissing in Manhattan” and “Sweet and Vicious”), Banshee has begun production in and around Charlotte, NC. The series' first season will have ten hour-long episodes and will premiere on Cinemax in 2013.
