Smithsonian Networks has just launched a new subscription video streaming service delivering spectacular original nature and wildlife content. The stand-alone ad-free service SMITHSONIAN EARTH will bring viewers closer than ever before to nature’s most remarkable animals and wildest locations. The announcement was made today by Tom Hayden, President of Smithsonian Networks. SMITHSONIAN EARTH is available to watch in both HD and Ultra HD (4K) resolution to users with compatible devices and televisions. Subscribers can watch a wide array of all new original programs, refreshed on a weekly basis, which includes documentaries and short series that explore everything from the sea life of Socorro Island to the creatures of Madagascar and active volcanoes in Ethiopia. Subscribers also will be able to immerse themselves in some of the most breathtaking and wildest places on earth with Nature Scenes, striking videos of the world’s natural wonders.
