Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch celebrates its 20th anniversary. And this event is also the kick off to NBFF’s year-long celebration in anticipation of its 20th anniversary next April. The 20th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival will take place from April 25th – May 2nd, 2019, presenting hundreds of films to over 50,000 attendees. The special honorees of the event were Robert Forster (What They Had) with the ICON Award. And there were three Artist of Distinction Awards going to Colman Domingo (If Beale Street Could Talk), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (All About Nina), and Topher Grace (BlacKkKlansman). CBS All Access Allows Viewers to Become the Detective In Original True-Crime Series Interrogation
CBS All Access announced a new original straight-to-series order for INTERROGATION, a true-crime drama series in which the viewer becomes the detective.
INTERROGATION is based on a true story that spanned more than 30 years, in which a young man was charged and convicted of brutally murdering his mother. Each episode is structured around an interrogation taken directly from the real police case files. The first nine episodes of the series will be available to watch in any order, and the conclusive season finale will be released at a later date.

A documentary on infamous attorney Roy Cohn will debut on HBO in 2019, drawing on extensive, newly unearthed archival material to present the most revealing examination of him to date. Director Ivy Meeropol (“Indian Point,” HBO’s “Heir to an Execution”), granddaughter of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, spent much of her life feeling both repelled and fascinated by the man who prosecuted the Rosenbergs in what became known as the “atomic spies” case, obtaining their convictions in federal court and then insisting on their executions.
