THE GREEN BOOK: GUIDE TO FREEDOM tells the story of Victor H. News: The Magicians Renewed For 5th Season Ahead of Season 4 Premiere
The Magicians is returning for a fifth season on SYFY. The network announced the season renewal ahead of the fourth season premiere on January 23, 2019.
The show is based on Lev Grossman’s book series of the same name. To date, three novels have been published: The Magicians, The Magician King, and The Magician’s Land. Quentin Coldwater (played by Jason Ralph on the show) is the main protagonist, a grad student who is accepted into a school for magic, where he learns that the fantasies he read about as a kid are actually very real and very deadly.

Showtime Documentary Films dives deeper into the music documentary space with the acquisition of North American rights to WU-TANG CLAN: OF MICS AND MEN, a four-part limited docuseries from filmmaker Sacha Jenkins (BURN MOTHERF*CKER, BURN!) that transcends the music documentary genre by creating a new lane that merges music, socio-cultural commentary and intimate family portrait. The first two episodes of the series will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Monday, January 28, and the full series will air on SHOWTIME later this spring.

A Discovery of Witches Season 1 Review. Wonderful Adaptation From Book to Screen
Whether you have read the books or not, A Discovery of Witches stands on its own merits as an amazing series with great acting, luscious scenery, drama, magic, and of course, romance.
The casting couldn’t have been more spot on for both Diana and Matthew. Teresa Palmer is Diana Bishop. Goode is Matthew Clairmont through and through.
There are small nuances that slightly differ from the book, but thankfully the core story arcs and main plot points are wonderfully explored and brought to vivid life.
