News: Get Up Close and Personal with Mark Feuerstein of “Royal Pains” and Matt Bomer of “White Collar”

As two of my favorite stars from two of my favorite USA Network’s hit series, I was excited to learn I could meet both Matt Bomer from White Collar and Mark Feuerstein from Royal Pains in New York next week! That’s right – two up close and personal meet-and-greet events just for fans. How cool is that?

Review: Pan Am – Season 1, Episode 10 – “Secrets and Lies” – Should Secrets Be Kept or Revealed?

Sunday marked the return of Pan Am after a four-week hiatus. For TV audiences, that is a timeframe equivalent to a decade and I couldn’t help but wonder if Pan Am would come back with the right focus or if the storyline would fizzle and become anti-climactic? My verdict? Thumbs up!

Advance Review: Lost Girl, “It’s a Fae, Fae, Fae World” (“…like the 4th of July in my mouth!”) #LostGirl @Syfy

Lost Girl has me spellbound! It’s sexy, engaging, funny, and absolutely entertaining; with fresh characters we don’t see much of on television. Lost Girl is about a young woman named Bo (Anna Silk). Bo is a tall, dark haired, sexy loner with a killer kiss. She doesn’t know it yet, but she is part of an ancient race of supernatural beings known as the Fae and she is a Succubus who feeds off sexual energy. Lost Girl is a colorful mix of supernatural drama, light and dark comedy, with a little sex appeal to spice up your Monday nights!

TV News: E!’s “Fashion Police” Expands to One Hour This March

I’m going to say it up front — I love Fashion Police! Besides being a fan of fashion, I love Joan Rivers’ unique brand of humor. Each week, I get some good old fashioned belly laughs on Friday night as I watch Joan, Kelly Osborne, Giuliana Ranic and George Kossiopolis offer up their unapologetic critiques of fashion and pop culture to their fans.

A Bud Bonfire, A Taser-Proof Thug and New “Jobs” for Everyone. Review: Shameless – “Summertime”

What can I say about the second season premiere of Shameless other than I absolutely loved it! The Gallaghers are back and at the top of their game – conning everyone around them. Their bad behavior is as essential as their love for one another. Frank (William H. Macy) reaches a new all-time low; darling Fiona (Emily Rossum) deals with Steve’s (Justin Chatwin) departure; Debby (Emma Kenney) is running an illegal daycare center; Lip (Jeremy Allen White) is in a fight club and selling weed out of an old ice cream truck; and Ian (Cameron Monaghan), who’s still in the closet for the most part, is serious about going to West Point.

Review: The Vampire Diaries “The New Deal” (Who’s in the Locked Coffin?)

The return of The Vampire Diaries has finally come and I was super excited to see what the writers had in store for us. Only, I’m slightly disappointed there was no major breakthrough in the storyline we were left with last year. Yes, it was great to see the characters again and fall into the world of Mystic Falls, Virginia, but I think “The New Deal” is a filler episode—and not a great one at that.

Exclusive Interview – Part 2: Walter Salles and the Beat Museum Keep the Spirit of the Beats Alive – The Filming and Cast of On The Road

In Part 2 of my exclusive interview with Jerry Cimino and Walter Salles, we focus more on the film itself. Specifically, can a film based on a book set in the 1950s and published in 1957 remain relevant in today’s world? Will the book’s themes, translated into film, resonate well with audiences? Initially, I focused the discussion on the relevance of the Beats in today’s world but it was inevitable we would end up exploring the process and expectations that come from interpreting a book into film, as well as talking about the film and cast.

Exclusive Interview! Walter Salles and the Beat Museum Keep the Spirit of the Beats Alive – The Keeping of a Secret: Part 1

Jerry Cimino, director and founder of San Francisco’s Beat Museum, had been searching for a car, specifically a Hudson, for over five years to add to the Museum’s collection but when he finally found it, he had to keep his excitement hushed for a whole year as the vehicle came to him via a film project that was still in progress. It was the ’49 Hudson used in Walter Salles’ On The Road, one of the most anticipated films of 2012.

A Treasure, A Rescue and a Gold Shield. Spoiler-Free Advance Review: White Collar – “Checkmate”

In the second half of this season, the chess board is shifting once again, showing us that when we strip away the lies of convenience and replace them with lies of necessity, we’re left with an interesting version of the truth. To rescue Elizabeth, the gang unites in a manner that momentarily erases previous hurts and betrayals.

Review: American Horror Story “Afterbirth” (What. The. F**k? Why is everyone dead?) #ahsfx

Bewildered would best describe my current mental state with regards to the season finale of one of the most intriguing and diverse new shows on television. American Horror Story crosses into perplexing and often times controversial territory with its writing and story arcs, but after taunting us with so much potential of what could have happened with Vivien’s (Connie Britton) unique fraternal twins, I feel a little cheated with “Afterbirth.”

Video: #Homeland Showrunners Discuss the Season Finale

I know everyone has an opinion about the season finale of Homeland, whether you’re happy about Brody (Damian Lewis) not blowing up Vice President Walden (Jamey Sheridan), astonished at Brody killing Walker (Chris Chalk), or unhappy about not knowing who the mole is. Now we have an opportunity to hear about “Marine One” from the showrunners themselves.

Videos – American Horror Story – Behind the Scenes with Directors, Special FX Guys and a Fly Wrangler

Now that the freshman season of FX’s critically acclaimed series American Horror Story has come to an end, fans have the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at what went into some of our favorite episodes.

Review: #Homeland Season Finale – “Marine One” (“Why kill a man when you can kill an idea?”)

Rarely do I give six stars to an episode I’m reviewing, but “Marine One” more than deserves it. From the minute the episode begins, it’s clear we’re in for another roller coaster ride of an episode—which makes sense since we’ve been on them all season long. What an exciting season finale! “Marine One” successfully builds the tension and intrigue throughout, taking us on a series of highs and lows which had me barely breathing through key scenes and ultimately had me on the edge of my seat for the entire 90 minutes. I can’t remember the last time a series did that for me. It was thrilling, compelling, intriguing, and mesmerizing all at the same time.

Review: American Horror Story – “Birth” (Has evil incarnate finally been born?) #ahsfx

Seems everyone is vying for Viven’s twins. Even “the gays” want in on the action. But if Grandma Constance (Jessica Lange) has anything to do with it, “the fairies,” Chad (guest star Zachary Quinto) and Patrick (guest star Teddy Sears) won’t stand a chance. Who wants the child the most? Is it the house? Nora? Constance? Does the child represent evil incarnate?

News: USA Network’s Psych Makes a Leap Year Return

All new episodes of Psych to premiere on Wednesday, February 29 at 10/9c

Review: Psych “Neil Simon’s Lovers Retreat” (Why Is Brandon Walsh Robbing People?)

For what, at times, can be ridiculous, Psych is extremely funny. I’m still enjoying the show though this is my first season watching it. Yes, I’m tardy for the party, but I say better late than never.

Things Are Not Always How You Remember Them. Review: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia – “High School Reunion, Part 2: The Gang’s Revenge”

You know how sometimes, things don’t turn out to be exactly how you remember them? That’s exactly the case with “High School Reunion, Part 2: The Gang’s Revenge.” When Dennis (Glenn Howerton) and Dee (Kaitlin Olson) are left alone at a table during their high school reunion, they begin to formulate a plan to get back into the good graces of those who left them there. (See review of Part 1 here). Until Dennis decides seeking revenge would be much better than trying to reconnect and Dee agrees.
