GAME OF THRONES Renewed For Seasons 5 and 6

HBO has renewed GAME OF THRONES for a fifth and sixth season, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming.

Agent Bellamy (Omar Epps) and Jacob (Landon Gimenez) are enjoying a quiet afternoon playing with toy army soldiers when suddenly real armed soldiers storm the house and take Jacob. As Bellamy goes after the boy, who is being stuffed into a vehicle, Jacob turns towards Bellamy and we realize it’s not Jacob after all, but a different boy (Kyle Beasley). Just then, Bellamy awakes, and we realize it was only a dream. Or was it?

Syfy Greenlights 12 MONKEYS to Series With 12 Episode Order

Syfy is giving a series greenlight to 12 Monkeys, a drama based on the 1995 Universal Pictures film directed by Terry Gilliam, it was announced today by Syfy President, Dave Howe. Syfy is ordering 12 episodes in addition to the pilot which was filmed last year. The series is produced by Universal Cable Productions and Atlas Entertainment, producer of the original theatrical.

Casting News: DB Woodside and Brendan Hines to Join the Cast of SUITS

We haven’t even seen the season three finale of Suits yet and USA Network has already announced the addition of two new cast mates as recurring guest stars, DB Woodside and Brendan Hines, for the show’s fourth season. With the season finale airing April 10 at 9/8c on USA, production for season four begins just a few days from now, April 7, in Toronto, ON and Suits will return to our TV screens this summer.

TV News: Homeland To Begin Production for Season 4 in South Africa

With the death of Sgt. Brody (Damian Lewis) last season, and Carrie (Claire Danes) pregnant with his child, I have been anxiously awaiting the return of Homeland, Showtime’s award-winning drama series. I’ll have to wait a little longer as according to Showtime’s official press release release (below), Homeland will be shooting from mid-June through November this year, with a premiere date sometime this fall.
