After watching “201,” I realized how very much I have missed The Affair. I am every bit as invested in these characters as I was when the first season ended. Treem is a wonderful storyteller and again gives the viewers realistic dialogue they can sink their teeth into.

TV News: Lifetime Renews Devious Maids for a Fourth Season
I was extremely excited reading the news today that Lifetime has renewed Devious Maids for a fourth season. I mean, who doesn’t want another season of the type of fun murder and mayhem only Marisol (Anna Ortiz), Rosie (Dania Ramirez), Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez), and Zoila (Judy Reyes), our favorite Latina maids can solve?

Castle Season Premiere, Part 1 – “XY” Review. On the Run.
Now in its eighth season, Castle comes thundering back, beginning part one of the two part season premiere with “Kings,” a hypnotic new tune by Tribe Society. The writers have infused a more mature approach to this season opener and by the end, you’ll be saying, “This ain’t your mama’s Castle.” “XY” encompasses a mixed bag of everything fans love about a Castle episode – intrigue, humor, and heart – but the dramatic aspect of this episode really captivated, or dare I say, surprised me. I had no idea what to expect coming into season eight but if this is the new direction of Castle, I like it…a lot!

Minority Report – “Pilot” Review. The Future Is Unclear.
If you are unfamiliar with the film Minority Report, it’s OK. The television series of the same name provides you with a brief overview of the film’s premise. In the film, three siblings with pre-cognitive abilities were used to stop crime before it happened. The series picks up where the film left off; the “precognitives” are older now and the initiative known as “Pre-Crime” no longer exists, allowing criminal activity to go back to the way it used to be. Now, when someone is murdered, police must gather evidence to solve the mystery – who the suspect is, where they are now, and why the victim was killed. In the TV series, Minority Report is set in the year 2065. In a bustling and very technologically advanced Washington D.C., Dash (Stark Sands), a young man with visions of crimes, comes to the city to see whether he can stop a crime before it happens.

Blindspot Series Premiere – “Pilot” Advance Review. Who is Jane Doe?
Who is Jane Doe? Where did she come from? Who tattooed her entire body with specific clues that lead to people, places, and events yet to occur? These are just a few of the questions lingering on the tip of my tongue after watching the premiere of NBC’s new drama Blindspot. Jaime Alexander’s magnetic performance as Jane Doe, both physically and emotionally, keeps you transfixed to the screen. Alexander is convincing as a woman plagued with amnesia and also credible as a kick-ass operative. (She is, after all, Lady Sif of Asgard in the Thor films). Is Jane part of an elite military unit? It’s not quite clear yet but the small clues sprinkled throughout “Pilot” seem to suggest her amnesia may not be an accident.
