Wonder Woman is About to be Everywhere!

Wonder Woman is About to be Everywhere! 2

Halloween season is often a telling time of the year for superheroes and popular fiction in general. It seems every year, the latest films and biggest characters inspire droves of Halloween outfits, and this year will be no different. With a new Star Wars movie on the way, we’re sure to see plenty of robes, light sabers, and golden Princess Leia bikinis out and about. We could also see a prevalence of spacemen in the wake of The Martian, or spiffy secret agents in mock tuxedos in the spirit of the upcoming James Bond film, Spectre. But even though she hasn’t actually appeared in film just yet, Wonder Woman actually appears to be right up there among the leaders in characters inspiring Halloween costumes.

American Horror Story: Hotel – "Checking In” Review. Horror Noir. 4

American Horror Story (AHS) debuted its fifth season, AHS: Hotel, and I still can’t believe what I watched—I don’t think that’s entirely good. “Checking In” sets the pace for the season, taking viewers on a dark journey littered with sex, drugs, and murder. Although the AHS franchise contains plenty of gore and violent content, AHS: Hotel is different. As the title denotes, the season centers on a fictional Los Angeles hotel, the Hotel Cortez, and its guests.

iZombie Season Two Premiere – “Grumpy Old Liv” Review. Oh, the Humanity! 12

“Grumpy Old Liv” provides many answers to the questions from the season one finale, while posing new challenges to the so-called “cure” Ravi mixed up. The case of the week centers on the death of an elderly man whose sour outlook on life rubbed everyone the wrong way. His racist remarks and hatred of everyone and everything around him didn’t make him the most liked neighbor on the block; however, it makes for very entertaining television when the cast of characters, including Det. Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin), must deal with Liv’s new less-than-sunny disposition.
