Wonder Woman is About to be Everywhere!

Halloween season is often a telling time of the year for superheroes and popular fiction in general. It seems every year, the latest films and biggest characters inspire droves of Halloween outfits, and this year will be no different. With a new Star Wars movie on the way, we’re sure to see plenty of robes, light sabers, and golden Princess Leia bikinis out and about. We could also see a prevalence of spacemen in the wake of The Martian, or spiffy secret agents in mock tuxedos in the spirit of the upcoming James Bond film, Spectre. But even though she hasn’t actually appeared in film just yet, Wonder Woman actually appears to be right up there among the leaders in characters inspiring Halloween costumes.

The Walking Dead – “First Time Again” Review. Zombie Parades Suck.

Eugene gets the MVP award this week for being funny without even trying. It’s needed considering the biggest zombie herd I’ve ever seen on a single episode of TWD is promising to wreak havoc on Alexandria.

iZombie Season Two Premiere – “Grumpy Old Liv” Review. Oh, the Humanity!

“Grumpy Old Liv” provides many answers to the questions from the season one finale, while posing new challenges to the so-called “cure” Ravi mixed up. The case of the week centers on the death of an elderly man whose sour outlook on life rubbed everyone the wrong way. His racist remarks and hatred of everyone and everything around him didn’t make him the most liked neighbor on the block; however, it makes for very entertaining television when the cast of characters, including Det. Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin), must deal with Liv’s new less-than-sunny disposition.

Sleepy Hollow – “I, Witness” Review. Evil Has Returned.

Four score, and about seven months later, Sleepy Hollow comes galloping back to our television screens with a whole host of new diabolical dilemmas (say that five times fast), and some updated hair styles in its third season premiere. “I, Witness” introduces us to a couple of new characters but fear not, our beloved Ichabod (Tom Mison), Abbie (Nicole Beharie), and Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) return; however, there is a change in the air.

The Goldbergs – “A Chorus Lie” Review. The School Musical.

Every now and then something happens away from the camera that’s so shocking a television series is forced to address it. Sometimes, it’s the death of an actor that forces the writers to make sudden changes to a story line in order to explain why a character is gone.

The Affair Season Premiere – “201” Spoiler Free Advance Review. The Aftermath.

After watching “201,” I realized how very much I have missed The Affair. I am every bit as invested in these characters as I was when the first season ended. Treem is a wonderful storyteller and again gives the viewers realistic dialogue they can sink their teeth into.

Ray Donovan Season Finale – “Exsuscito” Review. Family Responsibilities

“Exsuscito” is a compelling season finale, with the last 10 minutes filled with such heartbreak, it’s almost difficult to watch. Not only do the viewers not know Terry’s fate, they also don’t know whether Father Romero gets Ray to the hospital in time.
