In a press release today, FX announced it has cast Penélope Cruz as Donatella Versace, Gianni Versace's sister, in "Versace: American Crime Story," production of which commences this April with a scheduled air date sometime in 2018. Given the dissimilarities in their looks, it will be interesting to see how Cruz pulls this off. If you remember, Gianni was a renowned Italian fashion designer who was murdered outside his villa in Miami, Florida.
