DISCOVERY ANNOUNCES ALL-NEW AUTOMOTIVE SPECIAL ‘MAX GRUNDY’

The One-Hour Special Premieres Monday, November 6 at 10PM

Max Grundy

“Designer and builder Max Grundy doesn’t just restore classic cars and trucks – he creates icons. With his partner-in-crime, master mechanic Wayde Lundgren, and the crew at Max Grundy Design, Max is aiming to take over the ultra-competitive custom car world with epic builds that are unlike anything else on the road. Looking to standout in a crowded industry, Max and his ragtag crew prepare two larger-than-life builds to bring to SEMA, the biggest car convention in the world. With a tight deadline and a limitless vision, Max risks everything to make his big break in Discovery’s all-new special MAX GRUNDY, premiering Monday, November 6 at 10pm ET/PT. Viewers can also catch the premiere the following day on the Discovery GO app – free with their paid TV subscription.

Max Grundy’s unique, loud, and over-the-top automotive style combines retro nostalgia with all the bells and whistles of contemporary car design. Now, Max has the opportunity of a lifetime to turn heads with a prime location for the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas, which showcases the latest and greatest in the custom build world – but can he capitalize on it?

In true Grundy fashion, Max doesn’t just go for one epic build – he doubles down with a 1954 Cab Over Engine truck and a 1961 Chrysler Newport. The stakes are incredibly high and tensions rise with looming deadlines, and the team questions if they’ll even have anything to show for themselves at SEMA.

MAX GRUNDY is produced for Discovery Channel by Magilla Entertainment. For Magilla Entertainment, Matthew Ostrom, Laura Palumbo Johnson, Jason Fox, Josh Abrahamson and Kevin Allgood serve as the executive producers. For Discovery, Craig Coffman and Kyle Wheeler are executive producers, and Lindsay Malinchak is coordinating producer.”

I provide testosterone to the site. You won’t be reading about how nice a actress looks in a dress or how much of a hunk Matt Bomer is in my reviews. I describe colors using words like brown, not taupe. My twitter name is @staffaroadtrip because I love road trips and have done two different 48-state road trips since 2008. My favorite show is White Collar.
