As a longtime fan of Cynthia Nixon, I was happy to hear she will have a recurring role in the second season of Showtime's Golden Globe®-winning series The Affair. She will play a couples therapist who tries to help Noah (Dominic West) and Alison (Ruth Wilson) figure out their life together post-affair.
