Comedian and actor Dane Cook has been cast as Robbie in the upcoming television adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s AMERICAN GODS. Robbie (Cook), Shadow's (Ricky Whittle) best friend and employer, promises to hold Shadow's job for him while he's in prison. Robbie is married to Audrey (Betty Gilpin), Shadow's wife Laura's (Emily Browning) best friend, and he provides another shoulder for Laura to cry on while Shadow is away.
