Video/News: Showtime’s Just Another Immigrant Starring Comedian Romesh Ranganathan Premieres June 8.
JUST ANOTHER IMMIGRANT is a comedic docuseries that follows Romesh Ranganathan, one of the most popular stand-ups in the UK, as he uproots his entire family – his supportive wife, their three kids, his Sri Lankan mother and his eccentric uncle – and immigrates to the U.S. Displaced in Los Angeles, Ranganathan attempts to find success and happiness, while rebuilding a life from scratch. The 10-episode, half-hour series will air back-to-back episodes on Fridays beginning on June 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

News: Happy 20th! Teen Choice 2018 Airs Live Aug 12 on Fox.
HAPPY 20th! TEEN CHOICE 2018™, summer’s hottest event, will return for its 20th consecutive year, airing LIVE Sunday, Aug. 12 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. News: Fremantlemedia North America Brings Michelangelo To Hulu.
FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) has announced a first-look deal with Bob Cooper’s Landscape Entertainment. Under the pact, Landscape Entertainment will develop and produce scripted projects for the U.S. and international markets.
The first project in development through this new partnership is a scripted drama centered on Michelangelo, written by award-winning South African-British author, Richard Mason. With Hulu on board to serve as the home for Michelangelo, the series will detail the life of the brilliant and troubled artist, told through a modern lens that delves into the sexuality, relationships, alliances and betrayals in the volatile world of 16th Century Florence.

News: Showtime Orders City on a Hill From Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Jennifer Todd To Series
Executive produced by Academy Award® winners Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, and Emmy nominee Jennifer Todd (‘Jason Bourne,’ ‘Memento’) for Pearl Street Films, CITY ON A HILL is a fictional account of what was called the “Boston Miracle.” CITY ON A HILL is created by Chuck MacLean (Boston Strangler) and based on an original idea by Academy Award® winner Ben Affleck. In the early 1990s, Boston was rife with violent criminals emboldened by local law enforcement agencies in which corruption and racism was the norm – and then it all changed in what was called the “Boston Miracle.” In this fictional account, driving that change is assistant district attorney Decourcy Ward (Hodge), who comes from Brooklyn and forms an unlikely alliance with a corrupt yet venerated FBI veteran, Jackie Rhodes (Bacon).

News: HBO and Sky Announce 4-Hour Documentary Series The Case Against Adnan Syed.
HBO and Sky announced THE CASE AGAINST ADNAN SYED, a four-hour documentary series directed by Academy Award® nominee Amy Berg (“Deliver Us from Evil,” “West of Memphis”). The series will explore the 1999 disappearance and murder of 18-year-old Baltimore County high school student Hae Min Lee, and the subsequent conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed, a case brought to global attention by the hugely popular “Serial” podcast.

Freeform unveils the new and returning projects including Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, Besties, Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, and season two renewal of mermaid drama Siren . The network will also expand its holiday dominance with over 1000 hours of themed programming kicking off with “31 Nights of Halloween” on Oct. 1. The network also introduced Freeform Santa (Shadowhunters star Isaiah Mustafa).
