News: Teen Choice 2018 Second and Final Wave of Nominees.
VOTING is officially OPEN as of Friday, June 22 at 9:00 AM PT through Thursday, June 28, at 9:00 AM PT!
The second and final wave of TEEN CHOICE TM 2018 nominees have been announced and music artists Cardi B and Selena Gomez lead with four nominations each. In film, “The Greatest Showman,” “Black Panther” and “Solo: A Star Wars Story” each received four nods. “Riverdale” leads in television with seven nominations, while “Stranger Things” follows with five and “The Bold Type” with four.

News: AMC Renews The Terror Anthology Series For Second Season.
AMC announced they have renewed its popular and critically acclaimed anthology series, “The Terror” for a second season. The next iteration of “The Terror” anthology will be set during World War II and center on an uncanny specter that menaces a Japanese-American community from its home in Southern California to the internment camps to the war in the Pacific.

News: ABC’s The Conners (wt) Heads Straight To Series This Fall.
“The Conners” (working title), a spinoff of the groundbreaking family comedy “Roseanne,” has been greenlit to series with an order of 10 episodes for fall 2018. After a sudden turn of events, the Conners are forced to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before. This iconic family – Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky and D.J. – grapples with parenthood, dating, an unexpected pregnancy, financial pressures, aging and in-laws in working-class America. Through it all, the fights, the coupon cutting, the hand-me-downs, the breakdowns – with love, humor and perseverance, the family prevails. Additional cast members and premiere date to be announced.
Roseanne Barr will have no financial or creative involvement in the new series.

News: Doctor Who Cast Makes First-Ever Panel Appearance at 2018 San Diego Comic-Con.
BBC AMERICA’s Doctor Who will continue bringing the Whovians to Comic-Con International: San Diego this year, with a panel introducing the 13th Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker (Broadchurch). Marking a new era for the legendary Time Lord, Whittaker will be joined on the panel by two of her Doctor Who co-stars, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill, who play Ryan and Yasmin, as well as award-winning series showrunner Chris Chibnall (Broadchurch) and executive producer Matt Strevens (An Adventure In Space And Time). The panel will be moderated by host extraordinaire and legendary Doctor Who fan, comedian Chris Hardwick (The Talking Dead, Talking with Chris Hardwick).

Red Table Talk will debut an additional 13 episodes this fall, extending its first season on Facebook Watch. Freeform officially began production on “Good Trouble,” the spinoff to the critically acclaimed drama “The Fosters,” in Los Angeles.
