The network's “Man of the Year” awards ceremony, where Merc (John Pankow) is to receive the Vivaldi Award, starts off well enough, but things don’t go exactly as planned. “Episode 209” forces the characters (and us) to take a deep, introspective look at their lives, and is a fun, entertaining way of wrapping up the second season of this brilliant comedy.
