For all you Stephen King fans out there, the acclaimed author is adding another adaptation of his work to his already legendary films. 1922 is a retelling of his novella about a man who confesses to his wife’s murder. It was originally published in his collection, “Full Dark, No Stars.” 1922 premieres at Fantastic Fest this Saturday, September 23, and launches exclusively on Netflix Friday, October 20.

The tale is told from from the perspective of Wilfred James, the story’s unreliable narrator who admits to killing his wife, Arlette, with his son in Nebraska. But after he buries her body, he finds himself terrorized by rats and, as his life begins to unravel, becomes convinced his wife is haunting him.
