TV News: A New Season of Bravo Media's Andy Cohen's Then & Now Premieres Wednesday, May 3

I just love Andy Cohen, especially his hit series Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, TV’s only live late night talk show. Focusing mainly on the stars of the Real Housewives franchise and other Bravolebrities, there’s always a lot of fun to be had. So I was especially pleased to learn Cohen has been given a second season of his popular show, Andy Cohen’s Then & Now. It takes a look at some of the most memorable pop culture moments from years past and compares them to the biggest headlines of today. There will be guest stars galore, including Anderson Cooper, Barney Frank, Kristin Chenoweth, Gayle King, Amber Rose, Rupaul, and Joy Behar, among others. Premiering Wednesday, May 3 at 10 pm ET/PT, only on Bravo, first up will be the year 1997.

NEW YORK – April 4, 2017 – Bravo Media gets retrospective when “Andy Cohen’s Then & Now” premieres Wednesday, May 3 at 10pm ET/PT. In each episode, host and executive producer Andy Cohen, alongside his newsmaker and celebrity guests, dive into some of the biggest headlines today then look back at a handful of iconic years in popular culture to ask, “How did we get here?”

From how the 90’s Spice Girl phenomenon relates to today’s women empowerment movement, to an interesting correlation between WrestleMania and politics, the series will explore epic moments from our collective zeitgeist and how they’ve played a critical role in modern culture. As a former producer at CBS News (1990-2000) and current expert of all things pop culture, Cohen brings first-hand experience for many of the key events and gets never-before-heard stories from his guests who had a front row seat to era-defining milestones.

In the season premiere, Cohen and guests take a look at 1997, when critically acclaimed blockbuster hit Titanic made its debut, Lion King premiered on Broadway and the world faced the tragic loss of Princess Diana. Additional prominent figures featured this season include Willie Geist, pop-culture sensation Amber Rose, Susan Lucci, cultural trailblazers RuPaul and Isaac Mizrahi as well as beloved fan-favorite Bravolebrities Kandi Burruss, Erika Girardi, Dorinda Medley, Carole Radziwill, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump.
