TV News/Video: Starz Casts Ray Stevenson as Blackbeard for Black Sails Season 3 and Sneak Peek

Share

Holy Ship! The season two finale of Black Sails hasn’t even aired yet, and the powers that be at Starz Network are already teasing viewers with a look at the third season with some casting news and behind the scene footage. Although the fate of Eleanor (Hannah New), Captain Vane (Zach McGowan) and Captain James Flint (Toby Stephens) may look uncertain, you can definitely count on meeting one of the most notorious pirates in history next season: Blackbeard! Historically, Blackbeard has connections with Vane, so whether that plays a large part in season three remains to be seen. I know I’m thrilled at the potential of someone as infamous as Blackbeard raising the stakes in another provocative season of the epic pirate series.
