TV News: Showtime Gives US of Tara The Axe?

All the Internet is a buzz with news of Showtime putting our beloved United States of Tara on permanent suppressant pills, meaning after this third season, we won’t get to see our lovable alters Alice, T, Buck, Shoshana, Chicken, Gimme, and even the much talked about scary new alter, Bryce, anymore.

Being a devoted fan of this show, I was devastated to hear the news; however, I haven’t seen the official press release from Showtime yet. I am waiting to hear from our contacts at the network to confirm the rumor that United States of Tara has been canceled. But with the show’s creator Diablo Cody tweeting about it, it’s hard to cling to hope that this was just a grievous error or a horrible joke.

I will continue to review the show until the very end…like a captain who goes down with the ship, I’ll praise the show until the very last episode. And you don’t want to miss any of the next four episodes because the new mischievous alter Bryce isn’t playing nice…he’s downright deadly!

And Toni Collette who plays Tara deserves another Emmy® for her brilliant performance!
