TV News: Power Marathon This Weekend & a Short Synopsis of Episode 5

Although a new episode of Power won’t air this Saturday night, you can still get your fix of this compelling drama. Starz’ holiday marathon of Power is a chance for everyone to get up to speed on New York’s biggest drug kingpin, Jamie “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick). Tune in this Saturday, July 4 beginning 12:00 pm ET/PT, to binge on the frst season of Power, as well as the first four episodes of season two. You can get caught up on the gritty details of everything from Ghost’s prolonged affair with Angie (Lela Loren) to the motives underlying Kanan’s (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) backstabbing moves before season two continues on Saturday, July 11.

You can also catch up with last week’s episode, “You’re the Only Person I Can Trust,” by reading my review.

Then, in two weeks on July 11, tune in to episode 5, “Who You Are and Who You Want to Be,” when Ghost and Tommy (Joseph Sikora) make moves to sell all of their product in time to pay off Lobos (Enrique Murciano), unaware that Holly (Lucy Walters) is being questioned by the FBI. With every hour that passes, Angela is one step closer to discovering the full truth.
